Belle Arti Gesso Panel

Belle Arti Gesso panels are handmade in Italy, and have a surface that supports oil, acrylic, acrylic gouache, gouache, pencil, watercolour and ink.

The 8mm thick plywood base is finished with a very smooth, absorbent acrylic gesso surface. 

When applying acrylic paint be mindful the first layer will have more slip to it, though subsequent layers will have more grip once first film is applied.

The perfect base if you are looking for a super flat matte finish our want to do detailed work without texture.
