Faber-Castell PITT Matt Graphite Pencils, like all Faber-Castell pencils, are extra break-resistant, lightfast and have an environmentally friendly water-based varnish. Visually, however, the Pitt Graphite Matt differs from the other models: While graphite pencils usually have a slightly glossy finish, this pencil has a matt lacquer. Reduction of reflection is a special characteristic that the Pitt Matt Graphite Pencil offers making it the first graphite pencil with a matt and deep black lead. Made for a bolder low sheen result.
