Silk Cut Lino

Silk Cut lino is a softer and less dense material than traditional brown Lino. This provides a firm sheet that has greater ease of carving whilst maintaining the ability to hold detail. Draw your image onto the product with pencil, ink or transfer, and carve away any of the negative spaces.

Tip: Remember to transfer and carve your image in reverse so that it prints the correct way.

Once your design is complete you can use block ink to produce a relief print onto a suitable printmaking paper.
