Liquitex Slow-Dri Gel Additive 237mL

Liquitex Slow-Dri Gel Retarder when mixed with acrylic colour/medium extends the open time of your colour/medium by 40% rendering it blendable and workable for longer. Being a Gel, this product unlike fluid retarders, increases viscosity giving a thicker consistency whilst maintaining surface gloss, colour depth and transparency.

How to use:

• Start by adding up to 25% of Slow-dri to your colour/medium with a knife
• Mix in slowly and thoroughly
• If you're working over a long period of time, mix into colour on the palette to keep it fresh and skin-free for longer
• As this is an additive – with no acrylic binders - do not add more than 25% to your colour/medium and do not mix with other additives. This can cause the acrylic film to break down, leaving it sticky and prone to shrinkage
• Do not use with any non-acrylic media
